GLLUG Meetings
Beginning August 26th we will be having our regular meetings at Schuler Books in the Eastwood Towne Centre.
We'll try out the new locations, which is air conditioned and may have reasonable accommodations for presentations. Come and give feedback on the new meeting site.
We meet in the Cafe portion of Schulers. If you don't see us right away, look around for a group of people with laptops (most likely middle aged guys). If you don't see us, start asking people. Most people at Schulers don't bite.

5 comments postedmy question is, why have you guys moved your location outside of lansing? i suppose the location is fine though you guys could simply make a channel on irc.freenode.net to save gas and time (its not to hard is it?). there are some advantages to meeting in person however if there is members outside of lansing that are apart of this group an IRC channel would be of a good means. besides you guys can still meet in person and have a channel on freenode. not only can a IRC channel be beneficial to saving money but new users that want to know more about this group can ask questions there. being a new member i find it very hard to communicate to any of you besides these comments. where is it in youre HELP link for questions new members may have about contact? sure the site is good for you guys but how about new members? well, thanks for the response.

When you go in the front door of Schulers, jrmy, turn right and go to the restaurant part of the bookstore. There are four corners to the seating area. We're in one of them, furthest from the door and nearest the kitchen.
more about the IRC channel why havent you guys made one?
where in the building do you guys have this meeting? i just drove out there and i have no idea. why dont you guys have an IRC channel, perhaps on freenode? i'd like to find out what you guys are about. i would of liked to of attended tonight but i guess not :/.
